As far as she could remember, Bonnie had always lived in Ramboat Orphanage. Due to the orphanage being a tool for Dean to swindle donations, there were never enough caregivers to ptovide to the children adequate care. As such, all Bonie could do was make use of toys to accompany herself.
Despite te simplicity and crude materils, the children were still intrigued with the toys Bonnie created since such items were a rarity in the orphanage. Not only would Bonnie share the toys with them generously, but she would also make new toys for these children according to their new requests. Thanks to the herself-made "playmates", Bonnie garnered a group of fans and had become the leader of the children. However, the bombing of Ramboat's key industry, Videl Arsenal, disrupted the people's lives. What was most unexpected was that Ramboat ushered in a typhoon for several consecutive days. Much to everyone's dismay, the rising sea levels spelles disaster for the orphanage situated by the seaside. Eventually, the children found themselves destitute and homeless with the Dean and caregivers on the run or their lives. Under the pressure of the factory, the children were forced to become illegal workers who repaired destroyed walls.
Bent on leaving factory, these children, led by Bonnie, kickstarted their escape plan. In the midst of it, Bonnie's talents in machinery assisted her in developing a powerful weapon with the electromagnetic core from the factory. Altough the weapon was volatile, Bonnie was fortunately saved by Valhein, who just happened to be there on a missioon. He helped defeat the guards and eventually brought them to Lausanne, where the Mercenary Guild was located there, they started their new lives.
Bonnie had long since developed the habit of protecting her friends, and it would continue in an entirely "new" manner. She first began her training as a mercenary, in hopes of earning money to take care of her friends. Since the beggining, she had always wished to become strong enough to return to Ramboat and take her hometown to new heights
